Welcome to the CCSD Universal Instructional Framework (UIF). This tool is a resource for teachers in the Cherry Creek School District for centering themselves in their instructional practices, for developing culturally responsive learning experiences based on the Colorado state standards, and as a starting point for seeking out professional development opportunities. Although this site has been designed as a resource for educators, community members visiting this website are welcome, and encouraged, to look through the structures and tools that CCSD teachers use to develop lessons that recognize the individual brilliance in each of their students.
This website is divided into three major sections: "Instructional Design," "Content Area Resources," and "Professional Learning."
In the "Instructional Design" section of this website, the continuous cycle of improvement that guides CCSD teachers in both short-term and long-term planning is outlined. This cycle incorporates the four PLC questions, Culturally Responsive Education, and Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
The "Content Area Resources" section of this website houses multiple resources that teachers use in planning specific to individual content areas. This includes links to state standards, district-specific resources (internal to CCSD), and other, additional content specific resources.
The "Professional Learning" section of this website is dedicated to providing professional development opportunities for CCSD teachers as they work to continue to develop their professional practices.
