registration

During summer 2023, we will be transitioning to a new Professional Learning management program called The PL HUB. This will replace PD Pro. As such, we will begin Summer Professional Learning registration through a Google form. Please register for Summer Professional Learning by clicking here. You will receive a receipt including the date, times, and location of the course(s) you register for.

On June 1, 2023, The PL HUB will be live and you can register officially for the course at that time. Additionally, course facilitators will provide time and a reminder to register in The PL HUB during the course itself.

earning credit

Picture
Be sure to register for all sessions through the PL Hub. There are two types of registration possibilities. Many courses offer both choices. Here is a guide to help know which is best for you:
1. Certificate of Attendance/Audit
  • This means you can sign up and participate for FREE!
  • You will receive a certificate to submit to CDE for re-licensure (cannot be used for horizontal advancement)
2. CCSD Credit
  • This means you can use the transcript to move up the salary scale AND you can submit the paperwork to CDE for re-licensure
  • 1 credit = 15 hours $75 per credit hour for courses for credit
I don't want to pay for a course but it's forcing me to pay!
The credit types available for a course are at the discretion of the instructor and not all courses are available for a certificate of attendance. Please reach out to the course instructor to inquire about credit types not listed.
When will I get my certificate?
Once the instructor marks completion, you will be notified via email that the course survey is available. Once you complete the survey, the course immediately posts to your PL HUB transcript as long as there is not an outstanding balance due. Go to the Transcript tab and click the CERTIFICATE # of the course to generate a .pdf.
FOR ASYNCHRONOUS COURSES:
After completing the course in Schoology, you will need to complete a quick course survey in the PL Hub. Surveys are located in the SURVEYS TILE on the homepage. Once the survey is complete, the certificate will immediately be available in your transcript.

CCSD Mission: To inspire every student to think, to learn, to achieve, to care.
